Salina
ran out of the dining room into the vast hallway outside. The maids and cooks
were all standing looking shocked and petrified as she passed them. Murmuring shook
through the castle, Salina ignored it and ran up to her quarters. She threw a
big duffel bag on to her bed and opened her large closet. Her heart raced, rummaging
through her endless dresses. Wait dresses? Is that all she had. Yes she couldn’t
find anything else. Panicking she sat down on her bed tear pushing their way
out again. Footsteps pounded on the stairs, she fell down on her bed ready to
be grounded for life never leaving this room unable to leave. Because even if
she did leave what would a princess do in the real world? The door opened and
her mother walked in. “Hi.” She said a little sternly. “So are you done packing?”
she asked. Salina looked up, surprised. Her mom looked over the empty bag then
giggled. “Oh I thought you would at least make it out the door.” She murmured teasingly.
“I’m not nervous that you will leave because I know you’ll come back.” And she
left it at that she scampered out the door. Salina sat in bed for hours formatting
a plan in her head. At around midnight she slipped out of bed and slid out in
the hall. She silently wrenched a small medal dagger out of a crest on the
wall. Making her way over to the armory but as Salina rounded a corner she
walked bam into a very large very scary guard…
