Uncle Sandy got in a big fight with her parents the day Rapunzel got kidnapped. They told him that he shouldn't have taken Rapunzel (yes they never mentioned Salina's safety, she felt so loved.)he now lives right on the property line of the kingdom, she hasn't seen him in forever. She jumped on the back of Libra and road for three hours until she reached the front of his property. She dismounted and grabbed her bag, but when she turned around she gasped and what stood before her was the scariest thing she has ever witnessed.

Precious Princess part 8
Salina was walking around town unsure of what to do, she couldn't understand. She has been rethinking everything, going on her own, finding Rapunzel, impressing her parents. The witch was the thing she knew, the only thing she could follow through on. She wanted to go home. But she can't, she wont. So she did the only thing she knew. Go to her Uncle.

Califia's Ghost
The moon cast a pale light upon
grandfather, his shock of white, crazy hair was near impossible to look at
without getting blinded. The grin on his face was even harder, but with me
staying with him for the first time in five years; it’s hard not to get a
little excited at the prospect.
“Here we are.” Grandfather had led
us from the garden path to a backdoor, leading to the kitchen. It was oddly
small for such a large holding, but it had warmth to it that made up for the
lacking in square footage.
Sitting by the fire, a pleasantly plump woman
sat, snoring as loud as a bear. Grandfather knocked lightly on the door frame. Sputtering,
the old lady’s eyes snapped open to reveal a shocking shade of brown.
Immediately, a smile burst to her lips.
“Ah, welcome, you must be Califia!”
Blushing slightly I smile.
“It’s really just Cal, ma’am." She
turns to grandfather, giving a knowing look.
“Well, since you probably don’t
know, I’m Ms. Magloire. I know your grandfather very well. A good grower, makes
my ingredients of proper quality.” She reaches out, and I quickly walk over to
shake her hand. Grip as strong as a plowman’s, but gentle at the same time.
“This as you must know is my little
domain.” She sweeps her arm across the room with a smug smile. After a longer look at
the kitchen, you could tell she took great pride in it. Not one item or surface
didn’t sparkle brighter than the sun. Everything was neatly put away.
“It looks marvelous, very tidy, and
organized.” This comment brought a glow of pride to the old woman’s face.
“Well it has to be in top working
order. Got to be ready for anything.” She nods gravely.
Grandfather walked over and gave her a hug.
“It seems like you two are getting
along fine. Now Ms. Magloire will be showing you to your rooms. And I’ll see
you in the morning.” Hugging me as well he made his exit.
Giving me a warm smile, she
interlocks our arms and leads me to my rooms for the summer.
Just as we left, a chill runs up my
spine.
Glancing
back, I notice a figure of some sort illuminated in front of the fire. But as
soon as I see it it’s gone once again, and I’m led away. The feeling of being
watched still with me.
